Neluțu Iubaș, Founder and Visionary Leader of UBC’22, is married and the father of three children. With a passion for preaching, leadership, event production and church planting, Nelutu is dedicated to standing with those in need.

An entrepreneur with experience in running a company in the automotive industry, he has a degree in Theology and serves as Senior Pastor in the “Holy Trinity” Baptist Church.

In 2022, together with other leaders from Bucharest, he founded UBC’22, occupying the role of visionary leader and executive director ever since.

Maria Iubas, UBC’22 center coordinator and social worker with over 12 years of experience in the social field and organizing events, is a wife and mother of 3 children, motivated by the desire to serve and bring value to the lives of those in need.

Cristi Hârlea
Turkey Projects Coordinator and External Team Relations

Cristi Hârlea, pastor with over a decade of experience in mission and mobilization, is married to Michelle and together they have four children.

Within UBC’22, he is responsible for developing external partnerships, bringing new collaborators into the organization’s mission and projects.

Cristi is a theology graduate in the United States, where he lived for a while.

Volunteer Center Coordinator

Alexandra Popescu, coordinator of volunteers in the UBC’22 centers, is a vital presence with significant experience in the field of volunteer coordination.

With outstanding dedication and organizational skills, she guides her team to effectively meet the center’s needs.

Through clear communication and effective coordination, Alexandra ensures that volunteers are motivated to serve the community with an open heart and dedication.

Daniel Bouri, a graduate of the Faculty of Baptist Theology and Social Work, is dedicated to helping people both materially and spiritually, locally, nationally and internationally.

Passionate about service, Daniel believes that UBC’22 can be a valuable tool for the environments in which he is involved.

Andreea Florinca
CFO

Andreea Florinca, with over 10 years of experience in the financial field, holds the position of CFO at UBC’22.

Graduated in Accounting and with a Master’s in Financial Audit and Consulting, Andreea develops and implements financial strategies that support the organization’s mission.

His expertise includes financial planning and analysis, risk management and budgetary control, ensuring efficient and transparent use of resources.

Dedicated to promoting integrity and excellence in all financial aspects of the NGO, Andreea is also passionate about specialty coffee.

Alexei Crețu
Legal department coordinator

Alexei Crețu: Coordinator of the legal department. Married and father of two daughters, Alexei Crețu was involved from the first moment in the actions of UBC’22.

Alexei is an entrepreneur, president of Advocates International Moldova and member of Advocates Europe.

Being a graduate in theology, philology and law, with pedagogical, communication and diplomacy skills, he was actively involved in the coordination of many national and international projects and missions aimed at education and legal fields. Love, empathy for people and serving them is his calling.

Alexandru Vlad
Project Coordinator Ukraine

Born in Sighetul Marmatiei, a town on the border with Ukraine, married to Mădălina and together they have 3 children. He is a graduate of the Baptist Theological Institute in Bucharest and after finishing his studies he served as an assistant pastor in the Agapia Baptist Church in Bucharest, later as a youth pastor in the Providence Baptist Church in Bucharest.

Within this church, he was also chaplain at Rut School, a school focused on the education of children from disadvantaged families. For 6 years he worked as a sales manager (Bucharest area) for a company in Timișoara and was involved in various social projects.

After 10 years spent in Bucharest, he moved with his family back to Maramureș. In 2022, when the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, the Vlad family became involved in hosting and helping Ukrainian refugees. He later got involved in taking humanitarian aid to Ukraine, making a total of more than 50 trips to Ukraine.

6 months after the invasion started, Alex joined the UBC22 team.Alexandru is passionate about videography, being involved in several national and international media content creation projects.

Media & Communication and Fundraising Coordinator

Filip Torsan, media specialist, brings with him a vast experience of over 6 years in the field.

With a burning passion for using media for humanitarian purposes, he is dedicated to inspiring and serving the community through creativity and innovation.

Oriented towards humanitarian values ​​and guided by faith, Filip is actively involved in bringing about a positive change, thus serving the church of Christ with an open heart and dedication.
